Cave Thunder (Day 2 From. Cleansing Thoughts)

That night, as I was sitting alone, studying the rocks I had purchased on our trip, and trying to get the experience out of my mind. But no matter what I did I couldn’t erase from my memory what I experienced and the effect it had on me. We’ve been is several caves and all of them turned out the lights at sometime on the tour, but nothing like this has ever happened before. After awhile I heard a gentle whisper of the Holy Spirit ‘the narrow path.’ All of us are on an eternal road and at some point we will have to make a decision, the Word puts it this way, “Enter by the narrow gate; for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and there are many who go by it. Because narrow is the gate and difficult is the way which leads to life, and there are few who find it.” (Matthew 7:13-14, NKJV). Hell is a real place where  “the smoke of their torment ascends forever and ever” (Revelation 14:12, NKJV), and there will be no more opportunity for salvation not rest, day or night, from their torment. The Word continues to say, “He who believes in Him is not condemned; but he who does not believe is condemned already  because he has not believed in the name  of the only begotten Son of God. And this is the condensation, that the light had come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light” (John 3:18-19, NKJV).

As I sat there the Lord reminded me of a time dream or vision—I don’t know—when I felt the presence of hell. I remembered a sensation of falling deeper and deeper into a dark pit. The only light was coming from flames that took the image of a person on the cleft on the rocks. I could hear terrible noises, almost undetectable as a human, crying out for mercy. The smell coming up from the depths of the pit was repulsive , and the smoke burned my eyes and nose. I remember a feel of total despair and hopelessness.

My dear friend, you may be at a crossroad in your life, do not let this happen to you. Jesus came as a light to the world to call you out of the darkness and into His marvelous light. Eternity without Christ, the absence of all light, will echo with those who have died in their sin. Jesus is standing at the road of eternal life, calling, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me” (John 14:6, NKJV). In your hour of decision remember, “. . . God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved” (John 3:17, NKJV).

If you have not yet made that decision, I want to pray with you. Or if you need to rededicate your life to Him , please don’t wait any longer( today is the day of salvation. Pray with me: “ Our Heavenly Father, I ask You to forgive me of all my sins and cleans me from all unrighteousness. I believe Jesus is the Son of God, and through Him and Him alone, I am saved. I ask Him to come into my heart and remove the darkness from my life that I may walk in His glorious light for all eternity. I thank you that it is done. In Jesus’s name.”

My friend, I encourage you to call someone right now and share the wonderful news of your salvation.
